About The Position

ARCO Design/Build is currently seeking an Electrician II for our Electrical Division in Charleston, SC. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage field operations for your project from day one. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Completion of an electrician program at a vocational school or an electrician apprenticeship
  • Current electrician license
  • 2+ years of electrician experience preferred
  • Proficient with standard industry tools and techniques
  • Able to read blueprints and schematic drawings
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s licenses in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

  • Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems, as well as electrical components for industrial machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical wiring problems in a variety of homes and commercial buildings, such as outlets, lighting, servers, and electronic equipment connections.
  • Review job calls each day
  • Identify electrical problem areas on-site that need replacement or repair
  • Perform repair or replace wiring when necessary
  • Troubleshoot and ensure that the electrical system is working properly before leaving client location
