About The Position

WE ARE SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED ELECTRICAL SUPERINTENDENT TO LEAD FIELD OPERATIONS FOR A LONG-TERM PROJECT IN GOLDEN WITHIN OUR PLANTS & FACILITIES DEPARTMENT. THIS IS A HANDS-ON LEADERSHIP POSITION FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN SUCCESSFULLY MANAGE CREWS, COORDINATE PROJECT ACTIVITIES, MAINTAIN PRODUCTION SCHEDULES, AND ENSURE WORK IS COMPLETED SAFELY AND ACCORDING TO PLAN.

Requirements

  • Significant commercial or industrial electrical construction experience
  • Previous experience leading electrical crews as a Superintendent, General Foreman, or Senior-Level Foreman
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and accepted electrical construction practices
  • Demonstrated ability to manage manpower, production, schedules, safety, and jobsite coordination
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  • Strong planning, delegation, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and make sound field decisions
  • Colorado Journeyman Electrician License
  • Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screening

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in an active plant, facility, manufacturing, or industrial environment is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of rigid metal conduit (RMC), including layout, bending, threading, installation, supports, and NEC-compliant bonding and grounding requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall field leadership and take ownership of safety, manpower, scheduling, production, quality, and coordination on the jobsite.
  • Lead electrical crews, foremen, and apprentices in daily field operations.
  • Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and work activities to meet project schedules.
  • Coordinate daily and weekly work plans with project managers, customers, general contractors, and other trades.
  • Conduct jobsite meetings, communicate priorities, and assign work based on project needs.
  • Monitor labor productivity, project milestones, and schedule performance.
  • Identify potential delays, constraints, and conflicts and develop solutions before they impact the project.
  • Ensure crews have the drawings, materials, tools, equipment, and information needed to work efficiently.
  • Mentor field employees and support the development of future foremen and field leaders.
  • Maintain professional relationships with customers, inspectors, vendors, and project partners.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, one-line diagrams, schedules, and project documents.
  • Oversee the layout and installation of electrical systems, raceways, devices, luminaires, controls, and related equipment.
  • Ensure electrical installations meet project requirements, company standards, and applicable NEC requirements.
  • Monitor workmanship and correct quality concerns before they affect project completion.
  • Support system troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and project closeout.
  • Coordinate inspections and ensure punch-list items are completed promptly.
  • Review plans for constructability and communicate discrepancies or potential change-order work.
  • Lead by example and promote a strong, proactive safety culture.
  • Enforce company safety policies, PPE requirements, and jobsite procedures.
  • Conduct pre-task planning, toolbox talks, and job-hazard assessments.
  • Hold crews accountable for safety, quality, attendance, productivity, and professional conduct.
  • Maintain accurate field documentation, including daily reports, manpower records, progress updates, and material needs.
  • Protect company tools, equipment, materials, and other resources.
