About The Position

MCS is hiring for an Electrical Site Supervisor in Tampa, Fl. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits. The Electrical Site Supervisor must demonstrate strong leadership skills and have sound knowledge of industrial and commercial electrical systems. The Electrical Site Supervisor will require good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting. It is important that candidates keep abreast of industry trends and developments, as well as applicable Government regulations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain a Florida State JLA (Jessica Lunsford Act) Badge.
  • OSHA 10 required.
  • 7+ years of commercial electrical experience.
  • 2+ years of commercial site Supervisor experience.
  • Previous leadership experience with crew sizes of 6 or more.
  • Able to work overtime, nights, weekends, and travel.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Professional behavior that promotes teamwork, fosters cooperation and enhances productivity in the workplace.
  • Well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to work effectively with various external customers including government, military, and contractor personnel at all levels.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the company.

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman's license preferred
  • OSHA 30 preferred
  • A current passport is required for Overseas travel.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing work schedules for the electrical staff.
  • Providing motivation and assistance when necessary.
  • Inspecting and assessing the work done by the electrical staff.
  • Reading and interpreting design schematics to ensure the proper installation of electrical systems.
  • Troubleshooting major system failures and equipment malfunctions.
  • Repairing and maintaining electrical equipment.
  • Overseeing the purchasing and maintenance of the electrical equipment on-site.
  • Ensuring the work is completed on schedule and to code.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work area.
  • Consulting with builders, architects, and other workers on-site.
  • Works well in Excel, Microsoft Projects, Bluebeam, Procore, and Outlook email.
  • Other duties as assigned.
