About The Position

Bring your energy to Aggreko as an Electrical Services Technician 2 in Baltimore, MD. You'll perform installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of Aggreko's electrical power distribution equipment, including transformers, switchgear, load banks, cables, and related systems. This role supports both field and service center operations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, technical standards, and customer expectations. Power without pause. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of relevant experience and/or training
• Proven knowledge of the principles of electricity and electrical design
• 8+ years of formal technical training
• 10+ years’ experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical switchgear, this will include both low volt and medium voltage power distribution gear.
• Should have knowledge with protection relays and meters
• Positive, self-starter who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment to deliver consistent quality
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of Aggreko's electrical power distribution equipment, including transformers, switchgear, load banks, cables, and related systems.
• Support both field and service center operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, technical standards, and customer expectations.
• Specialize in working on both low, medium, and high voltage switchgear including breakers with relays, motor starters, VFD’s, load break switches, transformers, load banks, and batteries.
• Install fixtures, wiring conduits, motors, and other electrical equipment.
• Inspect circuits for specified shielding and grounding.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
