About The Position

Hoekstra Electrical Services is growing and seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join their Industrial and Commercial Service team. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of Industrial/Commercial service experience, proficiency in equipment power and data drops, strong control wiring and troubleshooting skills, and VFD configuration and troubleshooting experience. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail, a positive and team-oriented attitude, the ability to lead a crew of 2-3 team members, and the capacity to review and interpret electrical plans. A valid driver's license and insurability are also required, along with a willingness to train and mentor others.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Industrial/Commercial service experience
• Experience with equipment power and data drops
• Strong control wiring and troubleshooting skills
• VFD configuration and troubleshooting experience
• High attention to detail
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to lead a crew of 2–3 team members
• Ability to review and interpret electrical plans
• A valid driver’s license and insurability
• Willingness to train and mentor the right candidate
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen
