About The Position

This role is for a licensed Electrical Professional Engineer who wants to lead complex projects, influence technical standards, and operate at a high level within a growing MEP firm. You will not be a production-only engineer. You will be trusted with design authority, QA/QC accountability, and client-facing leadership. This role is for individuals who take ownership of their work and project outcomes, are confident making technical decisions and standing behind them, have strong experience with U.S.-based commercial electrical design, and want to grow into higher-level leadership within a structured firm.

Requirements

Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (U.S.)
8+ years of electrical design experience
Strong experience with U.S. commercial projects
Proficiency in Revit and electrical design software
Strong understanding of NEC and California codes
Ability to lead coordination and communicate with clients

Responsibilities

Lead electrical system design for commercial, mixed-use, and institutional projects including utility coordination, EV infrastructure, emergency power systems, lighting controls, Title 24 compliance, panel upgrades, service sizing, multifamily distribution, and restaurant/kitchen systems.
Oversee QA/QC across multiple projects to reduce errors and liability.
Perform and review load calculations, short circuit analysis, and system sizing.
Support project managers with technical forecasting and risk planning.
Participate in client meetings and represent the firm at a senior level.
Contribute to internal standards and technical training.
