About The Position

Responsible for calibrating a variety of test instruments for one or more skill areas, such as: Electrical Equipment, Industrial Equipment, and Temperature Equipment. This role also involves performing standards maintenance and checking of company standards if assigned by the Lab Manager. The technician will collect calibration data, record information on data sheets, and complete calibration certifications, including out-of-tolerance conditions. Continuous training in all aspects of Micro Precision Calibration Services is expected, along with sharing gained knowledge and best practices with team members. The role requires observing safety precautions and quality standards, and complying with company policies. Clear communication of calibration issues and procedures with customers and coworkers is essential.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Basic mathematics understanding
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to work both independently and under the supervision of Senior Technicians
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance

Nice To Haves

  • Basic Knowledge of Mechanical and Dimensional equipment preferred
  • Experience in basic instrumentation and manual tools preferred
