About The Position
We are looking for an Electrical QC Inspector for a contract position in Vancouver, BC. The contract is to start immediately and would last until the end of November 2026 with a possibility of an extension. This role involves supervising various inspection and testing activities, collecting and verifying documentation, preparing detailed reports, and investigating non-conformities. The ability to communicate effectively with diverse personnel is essential.
Requirements
- Certified (Red Seal) Electrical or Electrical Engineer (Quality Inspector)
- Five to ten (5 - 10) years industrial Electrical related inspection experience.
- Five (5) of these years should be in Quality Assurance / vendor surveillance / shop inspections
- Industrial experience in Oil & gas / Power & Utility / Construction / Manufacturing, etc.
- Authorized to work in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Supervision of I/O checks
- Supervision of insulation tests
- Supervision of cable markings etc.
- Supervision of commissioning activities
- Collection & verification of documentation against ITP
- Prepare detailed reports documenting inspection results, including any issues found.
- Recording inspection results and any non-conformities
- Investigating Non-Conformities i.e. identifying causes and assisting in corrective actions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with welders, engineers, and other personnel.
