About The Position

Amteck is currently looking to add a QAQC Coordinator for our new construction division. This is a traveling position offering long-term opportunities, steady work, benefits, and a 401K. Upon completion of a project, employees have the opportunity to move to another project within Amteck. Requirements

At least 10 years of experience in the Electrical Construction Field.
A working knowledge of construction standards, codes of practice, and standards relating to electrical work.
Must be able to read, interpret, implement, and enforce the NEC.
Must be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring schematics.
Capable of using a laptop, tablet, and associated programs to perform the above-mentioned tasks.
Must be capable of reading and understanding installation instructions of equipment to ensure proper installation techniques are followed.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years' prior experience as QAQC in the field.
A valid JM license or Amteck Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure quality control and quality assurance in electrical construction.
Travel to project sites as required.
Read, interpret, implement, and enforce the NEC.
Read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics.
Use a laptop, tablet, and associated programs to perform tasks.
Read and understand installation instructions of equipment to ensure proper installation techniques are followed.
