About The Position

Amteck is seeking a QAQC Coordinator for its new construction division. This is a traveling position offering long-term opportunities, steady work, benefits, and a 401K. Upon project completion, employees have the opportunity to move to other Amteck projects. Amteck provides training in areas such as low voltage, fire alarm, controls, and instrumentation.

Requirements

At least 10 years of experience in the Electrical Construction Field.
Working knowledge of construction standards, codes of practice, and standards relating to electrical work.
Ability to read, interpret, implement, and enforce the NEC.
Capability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics.
Proficiency in using a laptop, tablet, and associated programs.
Capability to read and understand installation instructions of equipment to ensure proper installation techniques are followed.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years of prior experience as QAQC in the field.
A valid JM license or Amteck Certification.

Responsibilities

Perform quality assurance and quality control duties in the Electrical Construction Field.
Ensure adherence to construction standards, codes of practice, and electrical work standards.
Interpret, implement, and enforce the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics.
Utilize a laptop, tablet, and associated programs to perform job tasks.
Read and understand equipment installation instructions to ensure proper installation techniques.
