About The Position

As the Electrical Project Manager in one of our BC (Penticton/Kelowna/Agassiz) locations, you’ll take on a leadership role that allows you to drive projects from start to finish. You’ll oversee and manage every phase of our electrical projects, keeping internal and external stakeholders updated every step of the way. To get the job done, you’ll take ownership of contracts, budgets, timelines, and quality control, while ensuring safety and compliance at every step.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager on commercial and industrial projects or as a Red Seal Electrician supervising jobs.
  • Proven track record in power distribution, communication, and control systems.
  • Journeyperson Red Seal Electrician certification is required.
  • Understanding of engineered drawings, specs, and construction schedules.
  • Knowledge of codes and standards to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Communicate with confidence and clarity.
  • Comfortable with MS Office 365.
  • Familiar with HH2, Paperless, and Procore.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salus safety programs is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage scope and risks, tackle change orders, and navigate the project scope changes using a clear and defined process.
  • Guide the project team to ensure that all changes are accounted for and understood, especially in relation to how they affect electrical timelines and budgets.
  • Forecast, track, and manage the electrical budget for each project.
  • Ensure electrical specs and timelines are in sync with overall project execution.
  • Develop, track, and adjust schedules to meet deadlines, proactively managing deviations.
