About The Position

The Electrical Project Manager II is responsible for managing and executing small to medium capital and sustaining projects at Pinto Valley Mine, with a focus on electrical systems and infrastructure. This role supports projects from concept through design, procurement, construction, and closeout, ensuring alignment with safety, cost, schedule, and quality objectives. The position serves as an electrical subject matter expert and works closely with project teams, operations, and contractors to deliver reliable engineering solutions while maintaining compliance with site standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
  • 5–7 years of experience in project engineering or project management
  • Experience with power distribution systems and electrical design
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and contractors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Mining or heavy industrial experience
  • EIT or PE certification
  • Experience with PLCs, instrumentation, or electrical modeling software
  • Experience with SAP or similar systems

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from scope development through construction and closeout, including development of project charters, scope of work, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and tracking performance against plan.
  • Develop, review, and support electrical designs and technical solutions, ensuring compliance with site standards, codes, and operational requirements.
  • Lead bid walks, evaluate contractor proposals, support contract development, and coordinate contractors through project execution.
  • Monitor field activities to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and design requirements, and provide direction to contractors to maintain quality and schedule.
  • Track project costs and timelines, manage change orders, and support budget development and forecasting activities.
  • Maintain engineering drawings and documentation, support as-built updates, and provide regular project status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
