About The Position

Solaris Energy Infrastructure is seeking a seasoned Electrical Project Engineer to support the daily application engineering efforts of our rental and sales operations. The ideal candidate brings 10–15 years of hands-on field experience, a proven safety record, and the ability to work directly with customers and staff on the safe, effective operation of our equipment. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Livingston, Texas, requiring the flexibility to travel domestically and internationally with little advance notice.

Requirements

10–15+ years of hands-on field experience as an Electrical Field Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Emergency Power Plant Engineer, Electrical Power Engineer, or similar role.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred; equivalent hands-on field experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Demonstrated experience commissioning, operating, and troubleshooting electrical power generation or distribution equipment.
Proven, verifiable safety record in a field engineering environment.
Valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restriction.

Experience supporting rental and/or sales operations in an application engineering capacity preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the daily application engineering efforts of the rental and sales operations teams.
Provide hands-on field support for the commissioning, startup, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical power generation and rental equipment.
Serve as a technical resource to customers and internal staff on the safe and proper operation of Solaris equipment.
Interact directly with customers to evaluate application requirements and recommend equipment solutions.
Travel domestically and internationally, often with little or no advance notice, to support field operations and customer sites.
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues on power generation and rental equipment in the field.
Collaborate with sales and operations teams to translate customer requirements into effective equipment applications.
Maintain a proven, consistent commitment to safety across all field activities.
