Electrical Project Engineer, Auburn Plant
About The Position
P&G is the largest consumer packaged goods company in the world, with operations in over 75 countries and 65 trusted brands. Our Auburn Plant, located near Portland, Maine, is a key production site for feminine care products. Founded in 1968, the plant has almost 600 employees and operates with core values of safety, quality, and trust. We are currently seeking two Electrical Project Engineers to join our Site Engineering team, focusing on capital projects for facilities, construction, and utilities. A current priority is the delivery of two new warehouses incorporating supply chain 4.0 technologies to enhance manufacturing and inventory excellence. This role offers a high level of engagement, visibility, and ownership, leveraging project management and technical expertise to drive exceptional results and increase plant output.
Requirements
- BS or MS in an Electrical Engineering, an electrically related technical degree, or relevant electrical experience (including military service)
- 0-5 years of relevant project engineering experience
- Demonstrated technical mastery
- Strong project management, budget, leadership & multi-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Nice To Haves
- Prior manufacturing industry experience
- Demonstrated project management portfolio
- Project manager certifications like CAPM, PMP, etc
- Local to Maine
Responsibilities
- Deliver projects as a mid-level individual contributor.
- Manage strategic projects across site, region, and business unit stakeholders.
- Create front end technical base plans.
- Work with a central project delivery team based in Cincinnati.
- Prepare project timelines inclusive of key project milestones, providing transparency to the project team(s) and communicating with cross-functional teams.
- Manage risks and define resolution strategies while creating clarity in ambiguous situations.
- Develop new processes and routines for increased visibility and accountability.
- Report on project progress and communicate relevant information to manager & leadership.
