About The Position

Keith Company designs and manufactures state-of-the-art industrial furnaces, kilns, and ovens sold to domestic and international customers. We are currently seeking an Electrical Programmer PLC to join our team. Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, the Electrical Programmer PLC is responsible for the layout, wiring, implementation and testing of the electrical systems on all manufactured products. This involves day-to-day operation with actual manufacturing processes of building furnace equipment.

Strong written and oral communications skills.
Knowledge MS Office (Excel, Word, and MS Team).
Minimum of 3 years prior work experience related to electrical systems.
High school diploma/GED and Trade Tech, or college degree.
Has a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

Experienced in the use of a variety of electrical control devices (Controllers, PLC, VFD).
Knowledge of 3-phase, single phase, AC and DC circuits.
Knowledge of 4-20mA and 0-10V loops.
Proficiency with PLC platforms (e.g., RSLogix/Studio 5000, TIA Portal)
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
Experience with gas burner systems or HVAC background is helpful.
Experience in forklift driving, scissor lift, and other common shop machinery is helpful.

Responsibilities

Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
Develop and modify HMI/SCADA interfaces for machine control and monitoring
Participate in fieldwork including installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automation systems
Troubleshoot and develop ladder logic, structured text, and function block programs to support safe and efficient equipment operation
Other duties as assigned.
