About The Position

RoyOMartin is seeking an Electrical Power and Controls Engineer to join their team. This role involves serving as an electrical subject matter expert (SME) for all departments within the mill, developing electrical project schedules and budgets, and maintaining company specifications. The engineer will collaborate with the electrical department to create new equipment preventive maintenance (PM) schedules, analyze and troubleshoot electrical control systems, and design, coordinate, and commission electrical projects. Additionally, the position requires mentoring and training plant electricians, maintaining electrical drawings and documentation, and working with vendors to stay current on the latest technologies. The role also includes managing capital electrical projects and contractors, and maintaining plant arc flash studies and documentation. Requirements

AC and DC power and control circuits
Low Voltage motor control circuits.
3-phase 15KV and 480V switchgear
Allen-Bradley programmable logic controls (PLCs) and variable frequency drives (VFDs)
Allen Bradley Servos and Servo Drives
NFPA70E arc flash requirements
AutoCAD
Short circuit studies
Protective device coordination
Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
PLC Networking and switches
Experience with HMI Programming
Experience with Process Instrumentation ex. PTs, TTs and FTs

Nice To Haves

5 years of experience working in an industrial environment
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology
