Requirements

  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Attention to Detail
  • Ensure compliance with UL508A and UL698A

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and understand electrical schematics
  • Review specifications and Project requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable codes (UL,NEC,IEC)
  • Mounting parts in enclosures
  • Drill, tap and cut out backpanels and enclosures
  • Routing and securing wire neatly according to layout
  • Labeling components and wiring accurately
  • Maintaining clean and organized build standards
  • Perform continuity and insulation resistance testing
  • Conduct functional testing (power-up checks, I/O verification)
  • Troubleshoot wiring or component issues
  • Verify panel meets safety and quality standards
  • Complete inspection checklists
  • Update redline drawings if changes are made
  • Maintain wiring diagrams and bill of materials (BOM) accuracy
  • Document test results
  • Assist with panel labeling and nameplate creation
  • Follow OSHA and workplace safety standards
  • Ensure compliance with UL508A
  • Apply proper lockout/tagout procedures
  • Maintain organized and safe work environment
  • Track parts usage
  • Communicate shortages or incorrect material
  • Maintain tools and shop equipment
  • Inspections on heavy equipment(forklifts, scissor lifts,gantry, upender, etc.)
