About The Position

We are seeking an experienced mechanical and electrical technician to join our growing Advanced Supply team! In this role you would build, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of networked vending equipment for our manufacturing customers. If you have worked as a Security System Technician or Low Voltage Technician, this would be a great fit! The ideal candidate would be mechanically inclined with the ability to problem solve.

Requirements

Proven experience in low-voltage electrical systems and mechanical repairs.
Strong troubleshooting skills for both electrical and mechanical issues.
Proficiency with hand and power tools, wiring, wire trimming, soldering, etc.
Mechanical Aptitude – Ability to use hand tools and work through break/fix scenarios independently.
Strong attention to detail.
Networking skills including basic understanding of IP networks, knowledge of LAN/WAN systems and wireless networks.
Computer Hardware knowledge – I/O devices such as handheld scanners, monitors, and related hardware.
Forklift experience helpful, but we are willing to train.
Experience interfacing with team members - ability to relay technical information in a concise manner.
Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
Valid driver’s license & acceptable driving record.
Ability to obtain/maintain a DOT Medical Certification.

Nice To Haves

If you have worked as a Security System Technician or Low Voltage Technician, this would be a great fit!
Forklift experience helpful, but we are willing to train.

Responsibilities

Build, troubleshoot, and repair computer networked vending equipment.
Mechanical assembly. Fabricate and assemble mechanical components – cabinets, drawers, coils, etc.
Electrical assembly. Basic assembly, wiring and soldering.
Basic computer networking.
Test new software features.
Use of hand and power tools to complete specified assembly standards.
Closely follow instructions, drawings, and schematics.
Occasional travel to customer locations.
Maintain organized and clean work area.
Loading and moving vending equipment using a forklift.
