About The Position

Afinitas is Hiring an Electrical & Mechanical Assembly Techician! ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES Oversees the assembly/routing of electrical systems from schematics. Resolving all personnel issues within the department. Interface between machine assembly and other departments. Promote safety with the team by leading safety meetings. Keeps the workflow moving by providing assigned duties and the material needs for the completion of assignments. Welding of structural components from blueprints. Meet established production and quality standards. Assembly of machinery, and routing of hydraulic and pneumatics. Demonstrates leadership quality to the team. Supports team with any resources required to build quality machinery. Conform to all company attendance, safety, and personnel policies. Any other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics.
  • Must possess good electrical and robotics aptitude.
  • Read drawings and AWS weld symbols.
  • Add, subtract, divide, and multiply whole numbers/fractions.
  • Have knowledge of overhead crane use and operation.
  • Have good oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with customer service departments by phone and in person.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Ability to comply with all work-related deadlines and work overtime when required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; able to handle shifting priorities and deadlines; able to property prioritize.
  • Work with a team and in a team environment.
  • Have good housekeeping habits, and strict adherence to safety procedures.
  • Take personal ownership and pride in the quality of work.
  • Willing to assist wherever needed.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.
