About The Position

Temp Connect Staffing is hiring a Mechanical Assembler for a trailer manufacturing and modification facility in Henderson, NV. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $21.25/hr, Monday–Friday with overtime and occasional Saturdays required. In this role, you will assemble and modify trailers for electrical generators using hand tools, power tools, and compressor tools, working from blueprints and written assembly instructions. This is a long-term opportunity with consistent daytime hours and a set weekly schedule.

Requirements

Minimum 6 months of recent mechanical assembly experience or similar hands-on assembly work.
Ability to read and work from basic blueprints and written assembly instructions.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and compressor tools.
Steel-toe boots required (employee-provided).
Must communicate effectively in English.
Drug screen required.
Background check required.
E-Verify / work authorization required.

Nice To Haves

Experience assembling trailers, utility equipment, or metal fabricated products.
Exposure to electrical assembly or willingness to develop electrical assembly skills.
Experience in quality inspection or verifying shipment documentation.
Familiarity with manual material handling equipment including hand trucks and skids.
Background in HVAC, maintenance, or other mechanical trade environments.

Responsibilities

Add modifications to trailers per customer specifications and written assembly instructions.
Inspect incoming shipments for quality and verify accompanying documents for accuracy.
Transport and move materials, supplies, and finished goods using hand trucks and skids.
Read and follow basic blueprints and written work instructions throughout the assembly process.
Collect and dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping to keep the work area clean and safe.
