About The Position

Perform facility installations and repairs as needed by department or determined through routine audits including but not limited to carpentry, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing (boilers, compactors, air handling unit, etc.) and light construction (walls and floor). Work with various departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Complete emergency repairs as needed. Perform inspection but not limited to repairing all buildings doors and loading docks. Identify existing and potential operational problems and inefficiencies and recommend resolutions. Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and departmental objectives. May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.

Requirements

• High school Diploma required.
• Proficient in English.
• Up to 3 years of related work experience.
• Strong mechanical and basic electrical skills.
• Initiative to complete daily assignments.
• Good customer service and technical skills necessary.
• Experience with all hand tools and equipment.
• Pay close attention to detail.
• Collaborate well with a team.
• Possesses strong writing and verbal communication skills.
