About The Position

LidWorks is seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician with experience in industrial manufacturing environments and strong knowledge of machine controls. The ideal candidate will also possess a solid mechanical background with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, motors, relays, sensors, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, technical drawings, safety rules, and operating instructions.
  • Knowledge of machine shops and fabrication tools, including grinders, drill presses, and measuring devices such as dial indicators.
  • Experience using electrical testing equipment, including multimeters and related diagnostic tools.
  • Must possess basic electrician hand tools, including: Electrician screwdriver set, Wire cutters/strippers/crimpers, Electrical test meter(s).

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a vocational, technical, apprenticeship, or industrial electrical training program preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of industrial electrical maintenance or industrial mechanic experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with pneumatics, conveyors, thermoforming equipment, and industrial machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial electrical and mechanical equipment, including motors, relays, sensors, switches, pneumatics, vacuum systems, conveying systems, heating elements, and thermoforming equipment.
  • Perform daily inspections and monitor plant equipment to ensure proper and safe operation.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, control panels, electrical circuits, and production machinery in accordance with company standards and NEC guidelines.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings.
  • Repair or replace defective electrical and mechanical components using proper tools and testing equipment.
  • Test, calibrate, clean, lubricate, and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance and production efficiency.
  • Assist with new equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and inspection documentation.
  • Work closely with operations and production teams to support manufacturing goals and minimize operational interruptions.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Must be available to work overtime and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
