About The Position
Maintain electrical power for lighting and equipment, detect malfunctions, and perform electrical repair and installation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Two years of trade school, college or equivalent required
- Must have a valid drivers license and maintain a safe driving record
- Ability to repair, maintain, modify and install electronic and lower power electrical equipment with assorted hand and power tools
- Basic understanding of the user of test instruments and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read manuals, schematics, and diagrams, with a basic understanding of blueprints
- Ability to reason and troubleshoot problems in a logical, systematic manner
- Ability to maintain and complete written records, logs, requisitions and work orders
- Possess a basic understanding of applicable codes and ordinances
- Knowledge of general safety rules
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures
Nice To Haves
- Some licensing or certification preferred
- Four years experience or comparable combination of education and experience preferred
