Electrical Maintenance Technician (Second Shift)
About The Position
Pall Corporation, one of Danaher’s operating companies, is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for its Deland, FL facility. This role is responsible for supporting the maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of all machinery and equipment within the plant. The technician will work with minimal supervision, providing manufacturing technical support to department engineers and designers. This is an on-site position with required work hours of Monday through Friday, 3:15 PM to 11:15 PM, plus overtime as needed. The company offers a pay rate of $26 to $30 per hour, plus a $1.00 shift differential for the second shift.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance concepts
- Minimum of five (5) years of related work experience at journeyman level
- Experience in like work centers
- Knowledge of single and three (3) phase industrial electricity and power distribution
- Ability to climb, stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum of 8 hours per day
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with steel microfibers
- CNC machine maintenance
- Low voltage controls
- PLC
- Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical repairs and installations while following specifications from engineering and equipment manufacturers
- Interface with operators to ensure production equipment readiness and performance
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance
