About The Position

Industrial Maintenance Electrician / Maintenance Technician. You'll play a critical role in maintaining and improving production equipment, material handling systems, and facility operations. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year of heavy industrial maintenance experience and completion of a two-year vocational or technical electrical maintenance program; or Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, piping, and mechanical equipment.
  • Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in industrial environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Minnesota Electrician License.
  • Must successfully complete the company's internal electrician competency examination.

Nice To Haves

  • Industrial lift truck maintenance experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electric, diesel, and LP-powered industrial lift trucks in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities, including inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and equipment adjustments.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings.
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery and equipment using hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Install, align, assemble, bolt, weld, and secure machinery and equipment to foundations and support structures.
  • Fabricate, modify, and repair components utilizing welding, brazing, cutting, grinding, drilling, and other metalworking processes.
  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to improve system performance and reliability.
  • Maintain organized work areas and support plant housekeeping and safety initiatives.
  • Comply with all ISO standards, quality requirements, safety regulations, and company work procedures.
  • Perform additional maintenance and operational duties as assigned.
