About The Position

SALT Service Co. is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform residential electrical maintenance calls and identify opportunities for additional plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services. The role emphasizes generating qualified leads, recognizing major replacement opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service. The technician is expected to communicate professionally with homeowners, understand their needs, and explain recommended solutions while maintaining quality workmanship and following company policies. This position is based in Austin, Texas, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule based on assigned jobs and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential electrical maintenance calls and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Generate qualified leads for the plumbing, HVAC, and electrical departments.
• Identify opportunities for major replacement projects, including full-service replacements, electrical rewires, and lighting projects.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating professionally, identifying customer needs, and explaining recommended solutions.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including after-hours service fee requirements.
• Maintain a professional appearance, a clean work environment, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Communicate with management when no jobs are assigned during normal working hours.
• Assist with additional duties as needed, including supporting installation teams, working on SALT properties, and participating in community outreach activities.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to support company goals and operational needs.
