About The Position

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and optimal performance of a facility’s electrical systems. This role encompasses preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, corrective actions, commissioning support, documentation, and inventory management, all carried out in full compliance with safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience: 3–5+ years working on industrial electrical systems (LV/MV power distribution, controls, or facilities maintenance)
  • Electrical knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals, schematics, and troubleshooting methods
  • Hands-on troubleshooting ability: Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical equipment (switchgear, VFDs, UPS, motors, relays)
  • Safety competency: Demonstrated experience with LOTO and safe electrical work practices (NFPA 70E or equivalent)
  • Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree, apprenticeship, or electrical license preferred

Responsibilities

  • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance (PM/TBM) on all electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and restore electrical equipment and power distribution systems
  • Own reliability for assigned systems/areas and drive corrective actions
  • Support commissioning, energization, and system validation activities
  • Maintain accurate work orders, asset data, and documentation in iEMS
  • Perform all work in compliance with safety procedures (LOTO / EEW)
  • Support critical spare parts identification and inventory readiness
