About The Position

The Electrical Maintenance Technician III is responsible for performing advanced electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. This role supports field electrical maintenance activities, electrical isolation (LOTO), and works closely with operations, vendors, and contractors to minimize production downtime while maintaining high safety and environmental standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in electrical maintenance or a closely related position, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Applicable electrical certification(s) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
  • Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate field conditions and recommended corrective actions.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively with operations, contractors, and maintenance personnel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under tight deadlines, and adapt to changing operational needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR check, fit for duty and agility.

  • 3+ Years Electrical experience preferred but not recommended.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant electrical systems and equipment.
  • Execute electrical isolation procedures (Lock Out Tag Out - LOTO) to ensure safe maintenance activities.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on lighting, air conditioning systems, motors, and other electrical equipment.
  • Plan and execute scheduled maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize production interruptions.
  • Support breakdown maintenance and quickly restore equipment to service.
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors during maintenance and repair activities.
  • Comply with Management of Change (MOC) requirements for plant modifications.
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce costs, and simplify maintenance processes.
  • Promote and maintain high safety, security, health, and environmental (SSHE) standards.
  • Report safe and unsafe conditions using Observation Safety Techniques (OST).
  • Participate in waste management initiatives and daily operations meetings.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and communicate equipment conditions and recommended repairs.
