About The Position

Precision Fabrics Group (PFG) is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Mechanic to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment throughout our manufacturing facility.

Requirements

  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Industrial manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
  • Experience with electrical control systems and production equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Working knowledge of AC/DC motors, drives, PLC-related troubleshooting, sensors, relays, and motor controls.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and repair skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, inspect, test, and repair electrical equipment to determine the extent of damage and required repairs.
  • Analyze electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, operating manuals, and maintenance manuals to diagnose issues and identify replacement needs.
  • Execute work orders accurately and complete required documentation.
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and quality in all assignments.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Understand the principles of operation of plant machinery and production equipment.
  • Follow all safety policies and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment including: Motors Transformers Starters Switchboards Circuit breakers Heaters Wiring circuits Electrical controls Lighting systems Distribution panels Conduit and buss duct Generators and controllers
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and ladder logic to systematically troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment controls and electrical control systems.
  • Perform mechanical repairs associated with equipment maintenance, including replacement and repair of: Motors Bearings Gears Shafts Pins Sleeves Power transmission components
  • Install and troubleshoot AC/DC drives and motors.
  • Work with relays, contacts, transformers, motor starters, sensors, switches, and related electrical components.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain compliance with all safety requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with employees and leaders across all departments.
  • Support other shifts as needed through a flexible work schedule.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
