Requirements

BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar engineering field
3 years of experience with electrical machine, electric motor, or electric drive product development
Ability to solve problems, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis
Ability to communicate effectively in a cross functional setting
Some Travel
Must be a U.S. Person or individual otherwise eligible to be authorized to work with export-controlled items or data [or perform services on military vehicles].

Nice To Haves

5 years of experience with electrical machine, electric motor, or electric drive product development
Experience with electric vehicle integration and operation
Experience with the heavy duty vehicle industry
Demonstrated proficiency in technical project leadership

Responsibilities

Develop electrical machine / electric motor solutions for electric propulsion systems
Gather requirements via internal customers, market demands, and competitive assessments
Author and release technical specifications
Develop and review product plans and validation plans
Prepare and present technical status reports for a variety of audiences
Perform root cause failure analysis troubleshooting
Identify and develop opportunities for product improvements
Participate in field performance reviews and communicate technical knowledge to field support personnel
Manage multiple programs simultaneously
