Requirements

  • High School Degree or GED
  • 3+ years Foreman experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an electrical journeyman in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment and fixtures using blueprints, schematics and sketches
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Successful Pre-Employment Drug and Agility tests
  • Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall
  • Ability to lift 100 LBS or more
  • Successful Background Check
  • Experience installing, assembling, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, wiring, cable, equipment, components, and devices associated with electrical equipment following drawings of electrical layouts and building plans.
  • Proven understanding of the NEC codes
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer and smart phone skills (emails, using apps and taking photos)
  • Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks.
  • State-wide travel is required
  • Proficient in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical Journeyman’s license preferred
  • NABCEP preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for each install from start to finish and must plan, organize/coordinate each install, order materials, delegate responsibilities, and handle administrative tasks including but not limited to recording and submitting all relevant paperwork required on each job and managing individual install crews
  • Provide constructive feedback to management
  • Install electrical systems for Solar, HVAC, and other commercial applications.
  • Ensure there are adequate materials and equipment to safely and efficiently complete projects
  • Have working knowledge of heavy electrical equipment, i.e., Conduit benders, threaders, tuggers; and extensive knowledge of directing wire pulls and large conduit bending.
  • Install, assemble, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, wiring, cable, equipment, components, and devices associated with electrical equipment following drawings of electrical layouts and building plans.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices.
  • Appropriately diagnose malfunctions in systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate to cause of breakdown and take appropriate steps to correct the problem
  • Takes install photos and maintain records, audit, layout documents for each job
  • Effectively manages all aspects of the construction workflow of the project to drive productivity via Task Trackers
  • Continuously organize and maintain system components at job sites
  • Document completion of installation
  • Demonstrate knowledge of OSHA standards related to electrical installations and enforce safety practices and standards
  • Order, Receive, Inventory and return (if necessary) all materials from vendors
  • Train all Electricians, Solar Installers, and helpers on all aspects of the job including safety requirements
  • Develop a positive working dynamic within installation crews, ARI Co-workers, and Subcontractors; analyse and resolve worker problems and recommend solutions
  • Organize, lead, and train crew members to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframes
  • Check on progress of installers every hour throughout the installation to ensure the installation process is being performed to plan; Follow Construction Job Flow procedures
  • Ensure accuracy of your own and crew's time sheets
