About The Position

This role involves installing electrical systems for commercial construction projects. Key responsibilities include running conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC), pulling wire according to plans, and installing panels, switchgear, and lighting systems. The position requires reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with NEC codes. The ideal candidate will maintain tools and equipment, and collaborate with various project teams on-site.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical construction practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings
• Experience with conduit bending, wire pulling, and system installation
• Understanding of NEC codes and safety standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable with strong work ethic and attendance
• Previous experience on construction job sites required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to provide own tools

Nice To Haves

• Journeyman Electrician license preferred (or equivalent field experience)
• 4+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems for commercial construction projects
• Run conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC) and pull wire according to plans and specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
• Install panels, switchgear, lighting systems, and other electrical components
• Perform layout and planning for electrical runs and installations
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during construction phases
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC codes and project specifications
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment
• Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades on-site
