About The Position
Journeyman Electrician – Control Air Enterprises LLC is seeking experienced individuals for full-time positions across the Greater Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, and Riverside Counties. This role involves working on commercial, industrial, biopharmaceutical, and federal/military projects. The company emphasizes a passion for their work and a family-like atmosphere, highlighting their 42 years in business as a full mechanical contracting firm with diverse specializations and a large fabrication shop. They are a 100% employee-owned company (ESOP) with over 1,000 employees and corporate headquarters in Southern California.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record (MVR required)
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background/security checks
Responsibilities
- Install switchgear, transformers, and panels
- Perform EMT, rigid, PVC, and PVC-coated rigid conduit installations
- Execute wire pulling and terminations
- Work safely on ladders, lifts, and scaffolds (EWP’s)
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical schematics
- Troubleshoot and repair lighting, power, motor control, transformers, and emergency power systems
- Lead small crews and manage manpower and materials
- Coordinate with Foreman and Field Supervisor for tools and equipment allocation
