Electrical Journeyman
About The Position

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in good standing.
- Five (5) or more years of commercial or industrial electrical experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical demands of the job.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to train and mentor apprentices is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and test commercial and industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Inspect, repair, and maintain circuit breakers, transformers, electrical panels, motors, and related equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to maximize system performance and reliability.
- Calculate electrical loads and ensure proper system installation.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues safely and efficiently.
- Install new electrical systems in compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of completed work, inspections, and service records.
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, supervisors, and team members.
- Follow OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and company safety standards at all times.
- Mentor apprentices and support the development of less experienced electricians when needed.
