About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Valid Journeyman Electrician license in good standing.
  • Five (5) or more years of commercial or industrial electrical experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical demands of the job.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to train and mentor apprentices is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and test commercial and industrial electrical systems and equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and project specifications.
  • Inspect, repair, and maintain circuit breakers, transformers, electrical panels, motors, and related equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to maximize system performance and reliability.
  • Calculate electrical loads and ensure proper system installation.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues safely and efficiently.
  • Install new electrical systems in compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of completed work, inspections, and service records.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, supervisors, and team members.
  • Follow OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and company safety standards at all times.
  • Mentor apprentices and support the development of less experienced electricians when needed.
