We are seeking a motivated, energetic, Electrical Journeyman in commercial/industrial to join our team. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Journeyman in the Kansas City, MO area to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial and commercial electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Current Journeyman Electrician License (required).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of industrial and/or commercial electrical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC codes and electrical safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, and industrial equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial facilities.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications, and electrical drawings.
  • Install conduit, cable trays, wiring, panels, switchgear, transformers, and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions efficiently.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on electrical equipment.
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
  • Work safely and maintain compliance with company and OSHA safety standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades on job sites.
  • Complete documentation, reports, and work orders accurately.
