About The Position

Generally responsible for performing routine design of less complex engineering assignments using theoretical knowledge and practical design methods under direct supervision. This role involves utilizing department design and drafting standards, understanding project scope, specifications, and design criteria. Key tasks include on-site assistance during startup, producing various electrical and instrumentation plans and diagrams, and developing conceptual layouts and cost studies. The position also requires generating estimate-level preliminary designs, material take-offs, and detailed design calculations. Collaboration with the drafting group and design leaders from other disciplines is essential, as is reviewing vendor and other discipline drawings for electrical/instrumentation input.
