AECOM's Water group in BC is growing! We are searching for an Intermediate Electrical Instrumentation & Controls Engineer for a full-time position supporting our municipal water infrastructure team. This is a full-time position based in our Burnaby, BC office. The responsibilities of this position include: Deliver EI&C engineering for municipal infrastructure projects across Western Canada, working independently and in coordination with multidisciplinary teams. Design and develop electrical systems and documentation, including power distribution, grounding, lighting, cable systems, drives, standby power, and low-voltage systems (fire alarm, telecom, security). Specify process instrumentation and control systems for municipal and industrial applications. Provide electrical discipline leadership on small to mid-sized projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and sound engineering practices. Collaborate closely with Project Managers, technical leads, and designers to coordinate deliverables and support overall project execution. Ensure quality and consistency of deliverables through adherence to AECOM standards, QA/QC procedures, and client requirements. Support and mentor junior team members, coordinating workloads and contributing to efficient project delivery.
