Requirements

Nine or more years' experience in installation, maintenance and/or repair of instrumentation, control equipment or monitoring equipment or relevant experience.
Degree in electronics, instrumentation, SCADA, engineering technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
Driver's license required if traveling to work at various locations.

Nice To Haves

Experience in industrial medium and high voltage.
Experience in preventative maintenance.
Experience working in a power plant environment.

Responsibilities

Adheres to safety and environmental protocols to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
Diagnose and repair complex electrical and logic circuits efficiently to minimize system downtime.
Conducts routine maintenance and precise calibrations on transmitters and control devices.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on high-voltage equipment, including circuit breakers, transformers, and DC systems.
Leverage a comprehensive understanding of plant functions.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear simplified terms for management and relevant stakeholders.
