About The Position
Lincoln Tech is seeking an Electrical Instructor / Fire Alarm Technician Instructor for its Electrical and Electronic Systems program in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The instructor delivers practical, hands-on training in a fully equipped facility and teaches Lincoln Tech’s accredited curriculum. The role emphasizes electrical safety, industry regulations, student development, assessment, and preparation for careers in the electrical and electronics systems industry. Teaching experience is not required; Lincoln Tech supports industry experts transitioning into teaching. The position offers a four-day work week.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in the residential, commercial, or industrial electrical industry.
- Experience installing and servicing electrical equipment.
- Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase systems.
- Knowledge of electrical codes.
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with motor controls, lighting controls, or solar.
- Experience or knowledge of low-voltage systems.
- Teaching experience.
