About The Position
The Electrical Instructor will be responsible for teaching existing electrical courses to clients, primarily in the industrial and heavy manufacturing sectors. This role also involves some development of new electrical courses. The primary work location is in Michigan, but the position requires up to 75% travel to assigned teaching duties, with all travel expenses paid.
Requirements
- Ability to teach industrial electrical concepts.
- Industrial electrical experience in most of the following areas: Basic Electricity, Electrical Safety, Arc Flash/NFPA 70E, Motors (DC, Three phase and Single Phase), Motor Controls, Transformers, Electronics, Instrumentation/Process Controls.
- Experience with PLCs (RSLogix preferred) is optional but preferred.
- Experience with Variable frequency drives is optional but preferred.
- Experience with Conduit Bending is optional but preferred.
- Experience with Wiring is optional but preferred.
Nice To Haves
- US Navy Nuke Electricians Mate experience is preferred.
