Requirements

2+ years of residential electrical installation experience preferred
Experience installing electrical panels, wiring, generators, service upgrades, or related electrical equipment
Working knowledge of electrical codes, safety practices, and installation standards
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Knowledge of the safe use and maintenance of electrical tools and equipment
High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Basic computer skills and ability to use a tablet/iPad for documentation
Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions, attics, crawlspaces, and construction environments

Responsibilities

Install residential electrical systems, service upgrades, electrical panels, standby generators, transfer switches, circuits, wiring, and related equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation specifications
Ensure all installations comply with local, state, and national electrical codes
Perform electrical rough-in and finish work for residential projects
Assist with load calculations and equipment sizing as needed
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and installation materials
Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding project timelines and installation processes
Maintain inventory, materials, and equipment on company vehicles
Complete required job documentation using company-provided technology
Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all job sites
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards
