About The Position

An Electrical Installation Lead for Toyota Automated Logistics is a hands-on position focusing on the installations of large- and small-scale conveyors, robotic, automation and commercial electrical systems. In this position you would be expected to have proven great overall installation and leadership abilities. You would be expected to be flexible and committed to maintaining project schedules, material and production management, and electrical code enforcement. This position requires continuous travel to client sites for the installation of material handling systems.

Requirements

  • High School or GED
  • 3+ years relevant experience with demonstrated leadership capability.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and practice of safety measures on jobsite.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must possess hand tools.
  • Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.
  • Employees must follow all information security policies, protect confidential data, complete required training, and report any suspected security incidents to support our information security controls.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledgeable in National Electric Code (NEC).
  • Works to minimize violations of electrical code.
  • Perform or assist in electrical installation work.
  • Proficient in installation methods (terminology, conduit bending, wire pulling, terminating, and troubleshooting).
  • Trains Installation Journeymen and Technicians.
  • Leads site and personnel safety initiatives and meets safety training requirements.
  • Responsible for meeting schedule demands and site production.
  • Responds to the needs of project management.
  • Coordinates cost-effective travel for project labor management.
  • Coaches team members effectively.
  • Safely delegate the tasks assigned by the Electrical Supervisor in a timely manner and up to quality standards.
  • Manages and approves expense reports.
  • Approved timesheets in ADP and D365 for Journeymen and Technicians.
  • Assists in annual performance reviews for direct reports.
