About The Position

Join our dynamic team at ASI Heating, Air, Plumbing and Electrical as an Electrical Install & Service Technician! We are seeking motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the electric industry. In this role, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, repair and sales of electrical systems in residential settings, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools to ensure optimal performance and deliver top-notch service to our clients. This role blends hands‑on electrical expertise with customer education and solution‑based recommendations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an electrician.
• Valid State of California Electrician’s certification as required by local regulations.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) license through the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) once hired.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check, drug screen, physical, and lift test.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of experience in residential customer service, and/or sales, highly preferred.
• Strong electrical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, providing timely repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of systems.
• Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential settings.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and providing detailed information regarding the homeowner's electrical needs.
• Support the sales process by explaining value, presenting solutions, and providing estimates for needed electrical repairs and additions.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, including service calls, installations, and materials used, and complete necessary reports.
• Follow all safety regulations and guidelines to create a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
• Collaborate effectively with other electricians and team members, contributing to a positive and efficient work atmosphere.
• Stay updated on electrical codes, technologies, and best practices through ongoing education and training opportunities.
