AECOM has a need for an Electrical Inspector to support the US Army Corps of Engineer’s Savannah District at Fort Benning, GA. This role involves providing oversight of contractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements and standards, including the evaluation of inspection and testing procedures, documentation of deficiency correction, and adherence to the USACE 3-Phase inspection program. The inspector will document compliance with construction standards and specifications, maintain records of field observations through daily reports, and participate in technical reviews of submittals and development plans. Responsibilities also include attending construction progress meetings, performing infrastructure walk-throughs, developing punch lists, resolving construction installation conflicts, providing photographic documentation, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations, USACE regulations, and building codes. The inspector will attend contractor meetings, participate in tests and demonstrations, and must possess a thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical theory.
