About The Position
SpartanX is looking for a dependable, motivated Electrical Helper to support our electricians and residential solar field operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone building a career in the electrical trade. You'll gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced electricians while developing your skills and logging eligible hours toward your electrical license.
Requirements
- Previous electrical experience preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical tools, materials, and safety practices
- Interest in developing a long-term career in the electrical trade
- Ability to follow direction and work effectively alongside licensed electricians
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to safely lift and carry materials and equipment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
Nice To Haves
- Solar or residential construction experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with residential solar electrical work
- Support the installation of electrical equipment, conduit, wiring, disconnects, and related components
- Assist with service upgrades and electrical modifications
- Prepare electrical equipment, tools, and materials for installation
- Perform electrical tasks under the direction of a licensed electrician
- Support troubleshooting and corrective electrical work
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and electrical equipment
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Follow NEC requirements, company procedures, and safety standards
- Work closely with electricians, installers, and field leadership to complete projects efficiently
