About The Position

We are actively hiring Electrical Helpers for our team in Laredo, TX and are looking for dependable individuals who are ready to start quickly. You’ll work alongside experienced electricians while helping complete residential electrical installations and supporting the field crew.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Electrical experience and knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) is preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical layouts is preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and climb throughout the workday
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and tools up to 50 pounds
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Ability to work at heights using ladders and lifts on multi-story residential construction sites
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing job duties
• Ability to maintain consistent attendance and stamina for full work shifts
• License Required

Responsibilities

• Assist in house rough-in work, including measuring, cutting, and pulling wire
• Install trim components such as plugs, lights, fixtures, and switches
• Carry materials and tools to support the leadman and crew
• Clean and maintain the work area and equipment
• Maintain a professional working relationship with the leadman and team members
• Communicate progress, issues, and solutions to management when needed
• Follow company safety policies and promptly report hazards
• Take direction effectively and contribute to a productive team environment
• Other duties as assigned
