Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical hardware development, manufacturing engineering, or automotive systems engineering.
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and hardware integration.
  • Experience coordinating installation, validation, and support of electrical test equipment or manufacturing electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
  • Familiarity with electrical testing, diagnostic equipment, and integration into manufacturing environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hardware design Including circuit board or system level design.
  • Exposure to robotics, automation equipment, or machine vision (non‑programming focused).
  • Familiarity with MES systems or production data tracking tools.
  • Working knowledge of in-vehicle software tools (NeoVI, Vehicle Spy, DPS, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of plant electrical tools and processes (Manufacturing Portable Programming Test Tool (MPPTT), end-of-line test process, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure product quality, safety, and optimize manufacturing processes in support of Electrical First Time Quality.
  • Design and implement electrical test systems for production lines, including continuity, resistance, and functional testing of components.
  • Support plants to make it happen for our customers.
  • Lead end‑to‑end project management for electrical hardware systems, ensuring on‑time delivery, cost alignment, and performance to requirements.
  • Coordinate design, development, and integration of electrical hardware—working closely with mechanical, electrical, quality, software, and manufacturing teams.
  • Oversee the introduction, commissioning, and validation of new electrical test equipment and system upgrades.
  • Drive issue resolution by partnering with engineering and production teams to remove roadblocks and maintain program timing.
  • Ensure electrical hardware systems meet manufacturing readiness, reliability expectations, and plant integration requirements.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
  • Foster a forward‑thinking work culture that embraces change and adapts to evolving organizational and industry needs.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships across software, manufacturing, and program management to strengthen cross‑functional alignment.
