About The Position
Electrical Contractor Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman. This role involves planning and executing electrical work on commercial and industrial job sites, ensuring all necessary resources are available, and coordinating with project managers, general contractors, and other trades. The Foreman will also be responsible for initiating and monitoring safety programs, evaluating employees, and preparing detailed drawings. This is a full-time position.
Requirements
- 6 years or more of previous electrical experience (commercial/industrial).
Responsibilities
- Layout the work and ensure materials/tools/equipment, and information are on the jobsite in the proper places, ahead of time.
- Plans work and schedules crew.
- Completes required paperwork and coding.
- Initiates and monitors safety program.
- Demonstrates efficient knowledge of trade.
- Coordinates with other trades.
- Prepares detail drawings for job.
- Coordinates the Project Manager.
- Has direct communication with General Contractor.
- Schedule Inspections.
- Evaluates fellow employees.
