About The Position

IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time commercial Electrical Foreman in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves supervising and coordinating craft workers, planning labor requirements, interpreting specifications and blueprints, and ensuring the quality and quantity of finished work conform to specifications. The Foreman will also enforce safety regulations, analyze and resolve work problems, and comply with all company and customer safety policies and procedures. Travel may be required.

Requirements

Minimum 6-10 years recent commercial electrician experience or related experience.
State Electrical License strongly preferred.
OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.
Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers.
Plans labor requirements.
Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
Confirms completion & documentation of project Daily/Weekly/Monthly safety activities reporting.
Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
Interprets company policies to workers enforcing safety regulations, and proper care for tools and equipment.
Analyzes and resolves work problems.
Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
