The Electrical Foreman is responsible for the safety and safe working conditions of project employees. This role involves reviewing schematics, inspecting wiring, supervising electrical crews, and ensuring production schedules are met. The Foreman interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders, and establishes work procedures to meet production demands. They also analyze and resolve working problems, provide electrical expertise, and manage material requisitions and inspections. Additionally, the Foreman confers with other supervisors, ensures safety compliance, maintains records, and suggests improvements to efficiency. They are responsible for operating company vehicles and equipment, enforcing safety regulations, conducting training, and ensuring company policies are followed. A strong understanding of client needs, company policies, and OSHA regulations is essential. The role includes preparing daily reports, conducting safety audits, reviewing scope of work, preparing material take-offs, scheduling deliveries, and coordinating daily work tasks. The Foreman must also ensure crew participation in shift preparations and complete any other assigned duties.
